Electoral Reforms suggestion
Political parties, the big ones, always have the advantage of being one of the few alternatives for the electorate to vote. For example, even if ADMK in TN is voted out of power in an election, they know that they have a good chance in the next election due to the "TINA" factor. (There is no alternative). One of the main things that I want to suggest in this post is that if we fire a servant or employee for non-performance, there is an almost zero chance that we will rehire him, but in the electoral scenario due to the TINA factor, we have to go back to the earlier ousted party if we want to vote the current government out of power. This made me think of some outlandish and outrageous reforms as below: If a party is voted out of power, the party and the ministers and the MLAs who were part of the government are banned for the next 2 elections, which gives chances for others to form the government than any one of the parties of the de facto 2-party system in many states.
